- Entrance Requirements: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Shawnee Scholar Award: This highly competitive support will be awarded to 8 outstanding students. If you have an ACT score of 30 and a higher or an SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1320+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.8/4.0 scale you will be considered for this prestigious award. Those in consideration will be asked to submit sample work.
- Shawnee Achievement Award: If you have an ACT score of 27 and a higher or an SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1210+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.8/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.
- Shawnee Excellence Award: If you have an ACT score of 25 and a higher or an SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1130+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.6/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.
- Shawnee Success Award: If you have an ACT score of 23 and a higher or an SAT (combined reading/math) score of 1060+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.4/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.
- Blue & Gray Award: If you have an ACT score of 21 and a higher or SAT (combined reading/math) score of 980+ and a high school grade point average of at least 3.2/4.0 scale you will be considered for this award.

- Apply to Shawnee State.
- Application for admission will be used as your application.
- Send ACT/SAT score to the Office of Admission. Send your current high school grade point average to their Office of Admission.
- English Language Requirements: Students whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English by submitting satisfactory scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
