Azerbaijan government offers 40 annual Scholarships for the countries which are a member of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Non-Aligned Movement countries.
Applicants from countries mentioned above can apply to this program to pursue their preparatory courses, undergraduate, graduate, PhD, general medicine/residency programs in Azerbaijan. These scholarships are fully funded covering all the expenses.

Scholarship benefits:
The scholarship covers the following expenses:
- Tuition fee
- Flight ticket for international travel ( Once a year)
- Monthly allowance of 800 AZN to cover the food, accommodation and utility expenses
- Health insurance
- Expenses related to Visa and registration
Eligibilities:
- Be a citizen of OIC and / or NAM member countries
- Be under the age of 25 for bachelor’s degree and general medicine programs
- be under the age of 30 for master’s degree and residency programs
- PhD applicants should be under the age of 40
- Be proficient in English language (TOEFL not mandatory but recommended)
How to apply:
Applicants should be officially nominated be respective state entities of their country to the embassies or to the ministry of foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan

- Completed application form
- Academic transcripts from prior high school and university studies
- Academic diplomas
- Passport copy
- Health document including HIV test, Hepatitis B and C tests)
- CV/resume
- Letter of motivation
- English language proficiency ( for programs in foreign language: IELTS5, TOEFL 40 for UG. IELTS 5.5 TOEFL 50 for other programmes)
Selection:
Applicants will be selected in the following stages:
- Document screening
- Online interview
- Result notification in July 2020 to shortlisted students
